I'm about to go to bed. Really I am. But I had a random thought.

I was thinking about the paper I'm writing for phil and lit, and the bibliography, and I started planning what to put in the annotation. And then I remembered that I'm most likely the only one in this entire college who has ever *heard* of annotated bibliographies. (Please, let me know if you've heard of this monstrosity)

Why did they have to make us write annotated bibliographies in middle and high school? It's the dumbest skill to force people to learn, because it's absolutely useless for anything other than History Day.

And where did they get off making us learn to write competitive bibliographies? It's just silly! They're BIBLIOGRAPHIES! Why were we competing with our bibliographies?

It just thundered and lightninged *really* loud. Wow. And the rain is now pouring even harder.

This is a crazy storm. I just realized for the first time why lightning can be scary...
